Tirana's incinerator/GJKKO's appeal returns Namik Simixhiu to prison

On Friday, the Special Appeal decided to return to prison Namik Simixhiu, accused by SPAK of the Tirana incinerator.

Simixhiu was being investigated under the measure of "house arrest", but the GJKKO Appeal decided to toughen the measure to "prison arrest".

Simixhiu is suspected of committing the criminal offense "Abuse of duty" carried out in special cooperation in the form of a structured criminal group.

The directors and officials of Erion Veliaj were arrested on December 8, 2023.

Erjon Murataj, Bledar Karoli, Taulant Tusha, Namik Simixhiu and Jetmir Llapaj were put in handcuffs.
