"Internationals should not wash their hands"/ Abazovic: Serbia should be investigated

Dritan Abazovic, Prime Minister of Montenegro

The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, has spoken about the tensions in the north of Kosovo.

In a statement to the media, Abazovic said that Serbia should be investigated and that he expects this to be done by internationals, where he emphasizes that they should not wash their hands of this unacceptable incident.

" Montenegro has a peaceful policy, and I think that our government and our country have created a model for how different nationalities can live in harmony.

The investigation that will be carried out will reveal the truth. What happened in the north of Kosovo is unacceptable. Montenegro supports what the EU and NATO have said. Serbian officials to investigate. I expect it from internationals, Kosovo authorities but also from Serbia. Internationals should not wash their hands. There have been warnings from Kosovo that there are many criminals there. Even the internationals must take their stand. International policy was not efficient in the region," said Abazovic./ CNA
