PD MP, Saimir Korreshi, shared this Sunday the difficult period of his life, when he immigrated to Italy to complete his studies and at the same time to work.

Korreshi confessed in a television appearance that his family had economic difficulties, while his father was sick.

He said that he did not find support in Italy and since he did not have a house to stay, he slept for 20 days at the train station.

The deputy even said that on the first day of his stay at the train station, a homeless man walked up to him and lifted him up from the bench.

"I ran away because my family had economic difficulties. My father has been sick, he had a heart attack. I was the only person working at home in '99. After that, I saw that the family did not have the financial means to keep me in Tirana.

I chose Italy, there were also opportunities to work. There have been difficulties, but luck for Lušnjari. The first 20 days I was a bit haunted because there was no one to wait for me. There were a couple of my friends who offered, but they couldn't keep me, they turned it back at the last moment. I stayed at the train station for about 20 days. For 20 days I slept in the train station with the sports bags I had taken with me, with the few clothes I had taken with me.

On the first day, a man comes to me, he was not Italian, he looks Arabic to me from the language, or Moroccan, he tells me that I wrote my name on that bench. So it was a difficult moment there, but fortunately it was a period that was the end of August-September and it was warm, it was not cold", emphasized Saimir Korreshi./ CNA
