The head of the Emaar company, Mohamed Alabbar, has spoken about the progress of the works in the construction of the Port of Durrës, where a full 2 ??billion euros are expected to be invested.

The construction of the tourist marina of Durrës started in September. The work has progressed at a spectacular pace and this was shown by Alabbar himself in an interview for "Opinion". The firm that built Dubai, headed by Mohamed Alabbar, is now implementing the project at the Port of Durrës.

He said that within two years the work on the beach could be finished. And at a time when the project is moving in the right direction, the false voices of propaganda and the media fines already "weep" from the problem.

They were told that it was not Alabbar, they were told that it would not be done, but now the work speaks for itself. Mohamed Alabbar indicated that a small marina and some buildings will be built, the beach, sand and land will be cleaned.

Unlike what was talked about up and down, Mohamed Alabbar himself says that the beach will be public, and according to him this is the least they can do.  This is exactly the case when any dissenting voice should demand a public apology.

When was the agreement signed?

The final agreement for the development of the "Durrës Yacht & Marina" project by the Albanian government and "Eagle Hills Real Estate" was signed on January 30, 2023.

The agreement was signed by the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Besart Kadia, investor Muhammed El Alabbar and Erlis Hereni, director of the agency for the realization of this project.

Investor Muhammed El Alabbar, on the day of the signing of the agreement, said that in Durres the latest technologies will be implemented that have not been used even in Dubai and he promised that he will not be disappointed by the results of the work.

"Eagle Hills" is directly managed by Mr. Mohammed El Alabbar, who is in charge of several chain companies. The construction of the port of Durrës will be done precisely by one of the chain companies of Alabbar. It is about the company "Symphony Real Estate Development" sh.pk, identified with NUIS M11726006H, which is fully owned by the entity "Symphony Invest Limited", which in itself is part of the group of companies of Mr. Mohamed Alabbar, who from for years he is a manager in the company "EMAAR".

Media pundits release the news that Alabbar has withdrawn from the project

Some media circulated the news that the businessman from the United Emirates, Mohamed Alabbar, withdrew from the project for Durrës.

It didn't take long and Mohamed Alabbar refuted the media fines, categorically denying the news of his withdrawal from the project.

"I am surprised by this news, I usually ignore rumors and mind my own business. These news are completely wrong and speculative. I am moving forward with all the details of the project and I have absolutely no intention of selling my shares in this project. Please personally visit the project area to see with your own eyes what is happening", stated Mohamed Alabbar at that time.

The project that will transform Durrës into Dubai

Investor Muhamed El Alabbar has confirmed that in Durrës the latest technologies will be implemented that have not been used even in Dubai and he has promised that he will not disappoint in the results of the work.

"Some things that are being done here are more advanced than in Dubai", said Alabbar himself.
