KAS accepts Maliqi's appeal/ It will re-examine Kreshnik Hajdar's mandate

KAS has accepted the appeal of Lefter Maliqi for the reconsideration of Kreshnik Hajdar's mandate.

'CEC to review again the granting of the mandate of the mayor of Kuçova. The decision of Celibashi for the in-depth verification of Kreshnik Hajdari is annulled," KAS has decided.

Maliqi has informed earlier that there are evidences and facts related to problems and irregularities in the election process in the VC in Kuçovo.

In the verification done earlier by the Central Election Commission, it was concluded that there were no legal violations and that Kreshnik Hajdari would retain his mandate.

"There is no legal reason for the term of office of the mayor of Kuçovo to be terminated", said Celibashi.

Lefter Maliqi considered the decision as a shame and scandal.

It remains to be seen what the next decision will be after the re-examination of this issue./ CNA
