Today, in the parliamentary session, the Assembly approved the bill for changes in the Addresses system.

This bill was approved with 73 votes in favor and 11 against. The draft law on electronic communications has also been approved.

Earlier, Minister Taulant Balla said that every building should have a unique code and all institutions will refer to addresses with this code.

"Each building has a unique code, this facilitates the accuracy of address information. We must have a unique address register at the country level. All institutions will be referred to this register, the Cadastre will no longer have its own addresses, its municipalities. See the 'Adresari' page, where address registration is in progress. Use this opportunity to find any address in Albania", he said.

The minister also stated that the unique code will contain 8 main elements that will refer to the address, the municipality, the administrative unit, the city, the village, the postal code, the boulevard, the street and the square, no. of the building and no. of the apartment./ CNA
