The agreement for immigrants/ From June 2, the work to set up the camps starts

The Italian authorities have announced the start of work on the construction of camps in Gjadër, Shengjin, where immigrants from third countries will be housed, after the signing of the agreement between Italy and Albania.

According to the data, from June 2, 20 operators will come to Albania and will work for 30 days with 4 shifts to guarantee security structures.

When the work on the reception center in Gjadër is completed, probably by the end of July next year, the supervision and management of public order inside the buildings will be managed by a joint force contingent of 300 units, 180 from the assigned departments.

For the legal issue of the structures, extraterritoriality will be applied, therefore the Italian legislation will be applied inside the structures, while for all tasks outside, for example escapes, fights or various crimes committed by citizens outside the EU, will be delegated to the police Albanian./ CNA
