Kujtim Cakrani, the lawyer of former President Ilir Meta, shared today a position regarding his arrest and legal proceedings.

 Cakrani said that the calculations against Meta were wrong, as the latter neither lived a luxurious life nor abused public functions.

"They have miscalculated with Mr. Meta. Rama must understand that Mr. Meta does not feel sorry for the isolation. It is not that when he was abroad, Mr. Meta lived a luxurious life, he did not drink 33 thousand euros of wine, not even with a charter... He moved around on foot even when he was the President.
