Këlliçi in Brussels: For Rama, protecting the corrupt is more

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi is in Brussels where he participated in a meeting at the headquarters of the European People's Party.

In his post on social networks, Këlliçi writes that Albania is first among EPP member countries in terms of problems with free elections,

According to him, the "icing on the cake" is the electoral process held on May 11th of last year, which Këlliçi describes as an electoral farce.

Among other things, the MP adds that for Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government, "protecting the corrupt is more important than the country's European journey."

In Brussels, in our political home, the headquarters of the EPP (European People's Party), together with various colleagues from Europe, sharing our electoral experiences and issues.

Albania leads among all member states in terms of problems with free and fair elections, as it has been organizing "voting processes" for a decade now, and the icing on the cake remains the electoral farce held on May 11, 2025.

Exchanging experiences strengthens us as a team and international cooperation remains the key to facing common challenges and advancing towards a stronger and more united Europe.

PS: As for Edi Rama and his gang in government, it is now clear to every Albanian or international that protecting the corrupt and organized crime is more valuable than Albania's European path.
