"Complex situation in Iran"/ General: Albania is not at risk, but not

General Dedë Prenga commented today on the situation in the Middle East, focusing particularly on the fighting in Iran.

Invited to A2 CNN, Prenga stated that the situation in that region is complex and complicated.

According to the general, Albania is not at risk, but neither is it excluded, due to the hybrid warfare model.

"The situation is so complex and intricate that no one is exempt. We are not at risk to an unimaginable extent, but I would say that we are not exempt, in the hybrid warfare model. I am not saying that we are at risk from an Iranian ballistic missile, which will pass through many NATO countries and are prepared to intercept and destroy it. But, we are not exempt from an action of a person, that no one commands, because even within those mujahideen, citizens have been identified who were there to obtain information. It is possible that someone from outside can be paid, that part of the hybrid warfare, which can set up a drone and can launch it at any facility. We do not have that kind of security in any country because it would be up to us to assign two soldiers or two police officers to every citizen to have them under control non-stop 24 hours a day. This cannot happen. The fire that we have received on our backs is affecting. But, "No one can determine and cannot make the oracle at these moments and say that this will happen or that will happen. This is hypothetical, but just as we are not at significant risk, I say that we are not excluded either because we are part of the coalition and support with as much capacity and opportunity as we have, even through a declaration such as this resolution approved today," the general said. /CNA
