IGJEUM: Rainfall returns to the country, here's how the weather changes

The Institute of Geosciences has shared a forecast regarding weather conditions this early week. According to the data, Monday afternoon will bring rainfall, which is expected to continue throughout Tuesday across the country's regions.  

Precipitation:

This afternoon (Monday, the 16th) and tomorrow (Tuesday, the 17th) average rainfall is expected in the Shkodra region and light to locally average in the Kukës region, while light rainfall is expected in the other regions. The rainfall is expected to be in the form of thunderstorms (as shown in the table, respectively for each region).

In the North, East and South East of the country, at altitudes above 900 m above sea level, precipitation is expected to be in the form of snow, more concentrated in the North of the country.

Temperatures:

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 11 / 15 °C

in lowlands: 9 / 17 °C

in mountainous areas: 4 / 10 °C

Wind:

This afternoon and tomorrow, the wind is expected to blow light to moderate. /CNA
