Berisha appears before the Special Prosecution Office

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared today at the Special Prosecutor's Office. His appearance at SPAK comes under the "compulsory appearance" security measure. 

The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (DP) must appear in court on the first and third Monday of every month. We remind you that he is under indictment for corruption in the "Partizani" case.

The official charge communicated to Berisha was "Passive corruption of high-ranking state officials or local elected officials", committed in collaboration. According to SPAK, Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary was Malltezi. /CNA
