Former MP Monika Kryemadhi reacted to the media after the decision of the GJKKO to send the case to trial. In her statement, Kryemadhi described the process as political and stressed that she will face the charges in court sessions. She added that during the session the judge had mentioned elements that, according to her, were not presented by the prosecution.

The former MP called the justice "ridiculous," but stressed that the decision could give the European Court of Human Rights the opportunity to review Meta's case in Strasbourg.

She added that the battle will not only take place in the courtroom, but also in public opinion.

"We are accused of corruption, Adrian Shatku and I, but the latter has never been questioned. It is a ridiculous justice, there is a good thing about this decision that in Strasbourg it gives Mr. Meta a great chance to show himself." 

"This is a political trial. This is not a legal battle. Our battle is a battle with ourselves. As for today's decision, I can say that it was a decision under pressure. The judge admitted that in the file 90% of the prosecutors' accusations there is no evidence," said Kryemadhi./ CNA
