The State Police, within the framework of the implementation of the institutional duties defined by the law for the development of the electoral process, has announced that it has taken under protection 4080 polling stations.

Among other things, she has announced that the security of the election facilities will continue until the next day, when work will begin normally.

The police further declares that it has ensured that the citizens exercise the voting process freely, calmly, pristinely and without being intimidated by anyone.

" The State Police, in implementation of the institutional duties that the law defines in the framework of the election process for local government bodies, is performing its duties with maximum commitment and responsibility.

The Police officers, planned throughout the country, for the preservation of election facilities, have presented themselves to the CEAZs and the process of accompanying the commissioners with the election materials and taking custody of the election facilities where the election materials will be administered continues.

All over the country, until now, 4,080 objects have been taken over by the Police for safekeeping, and other objects are still being taken over.

The security of the election facilities will continue until the next day, when the voting center commissions and the zonal commissions of the electoral administration will start their work normally.

In the General Directorate of the State Police, the management group works for the management of security measures for the smooth running of the election process, with the aim of evaluating any information from all sources, as well as for its verification, analysis and follow-up.
