Three people have been arrested by the police after being accused of engaging in illegal gambling activities.   

Thanks to the coded police operation "Last bet", the citizens AT, 46 years old, AP, 53 years old, were arrested red-handed and the citizen EK, 36 years old, resident of Pogradec, was declared wanted.

During the search of the 36-year-old's bar, the police services found sports betting tickets and sports betting pages on the mobile phones of 2 other citizens. From the investigations carried out, it is suspected that the EK citizen was the organizer of this activity since he had made his bar available for gambling;

Also, the citizen DM, 46 years old, was arrested in the act and the proceedings started in a state of freedom for the citizen RD, 64 years old, resident in Pogradec, after during the control exercised in a bar used by the 64-year-old, which he had made available for the exercise of this activity, the citizen DM was found on his mobile phone, sports betting tickets and sports betting pages.

The mobile phones of these citizens, which served this illegality, were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Korça General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
