LIDL towards entry into Albania/ Edi Rama: The first outlet of the German supermarket will open soon

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that the German supermarket chain Lidl is expected to open its first outlet in Albania soon.

During his speech at the MatchMaker Albania event, Rama thanked the German investors and announced that the company is now in the final phase of preparations for entering the Albanian market.

According to him, Lidl representatives are cooperating with local authorities and will soon inaugurate their first location.

"The Lidl people who are here are working with us and will soon open their first facility," said Rama, adding that such investments raise standards in the market.
