The lawyer of PL leader Ilir Meta, Kujtim Cakrani, stated in a press conference that the accusations against Meta are unfounded and fabricated.
Cakrani said that the purpose of these accusations is to discredit Meta for accusations and affairs that do not exist.
According to him, Meta's criminal complaint against another person through the prosecutor of the time, Adriatik Llalla, was dismissed due to the amnesty, and the charges are related to a misuse of a phone call that had no solid legal basis.
"They wanted to discredit President Meta for accusations and affairs that do not exist. Mr. Meta, starting from the annoyance and messages of the lady, filed a criminal complaint against him, presenting it before the prosecutor of the time, Adriatik Llalla, and this case was dismissed due to the amnesty of the time.
