Transparency Board decisions revealed/Here's how much oil and gasoline will

The Transparency Board held its first meeting today after the law came into force. The meeting set the retail price of diesel at no more than 203 lek/liter, while the wholesale price at no more than 191 lek/liter.

The retail price of gasoline is set to be no more than 175 lek/liter, while the wholesale price is no more than 163 lek/liter.

It is hereby notified that the prices set at today's meeting come into effect at 6:30 PM and will be valid until the next board meeting.

The following decisions emphasize that in the event of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.

The Transparency Board on March 26, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:

The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 203 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 191 lek/liter.

The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 175 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 163 lek/liter.

The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, March 26th at 6:30 pm and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.

We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market. / CNA
