The Prime Minister's Office joins the voluntary blood donation campaign

The tradition of voluntary blood donation in the Prime Minister's Office premises continued this year, as a symbolic and solidarity act to save lives.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, a regular blood donor for many years, once again joined this initiative along with employees of the Prime Minister's Office administration.

The Prime Minister's appeal called for a broader engagement of citizens in this vital act. He emphasized that blood donation is a concrete expression of human solidarity.

"Are you aware that this is very positive for the body? This rejuvenates you, regenerates you, changes your blood, cleanses you. Apart from the fact that it is a very valuable contribution. That you should put yourself in the position of those parents who have children with these needs, but beyond that it is also a very positive development for your body", - said Prime Minister Rama.

The blood donation awareness campaign aims to raise public awareness about the importance of voluntary donations and the impact they have on improving the healthcare system and strengthening the sense of solidarity in society./ CNA
