During the last 24 hours, 19 fires have been reported, of which 6 are still active.

These fires have been identified in the municipalities of: Finiqi, Vlora, Elbasan, Poliçan, Berat, Has, Bulqiza, Malesia e Madhe, Lezha, Kolonja, Korça, Tirana, Kavaja and Fier.

Currently, the following outbreaks remain active:

- At the waste disposal site in the municipality of Elbasan, where work continues today to completely extinguish the fire, after its isolation by operational forces yesterday.

- Work continues on the fire site between the village of Grazhdan, administrative unit of Livadhja and the village of Malçan, administrative unit of Dhivër, municipality of Finiq. During the night, the forces of the MZSH Finiq and the Armed Forces personnel remained on monitoring to prevent any possible reactivation. Today, the fire continues to be active in the eastern area of ??the village of Leshinicë e Poshtme, but it is far from the inhabited area.

- The fire, in the area called "Sotiran" between the villages of Tragjas and Dukat, Orikum administrative unit, Vlora municipality, continues to be active in three scattered outbreaks. The terrain makes intervention difficult, but the fire does not pose a danger to the area.

- The fire in the village of Zgërbonjë, administrative unit of Vërtop, municipality of Poliçan remains active. During the night, the fire was monitored by the Poliçan MZSH and today work has begun to completely extinguish the last active fire with 10 officers and 5 municipal forces. According to preliminary information from the forest service, about 50 ha have been burned until yesterday.

- In the place called "Livadhi i Peladhisë", Zerqan administrative unit, Bulqizë municipality, during the night due to the wind and high temperatures the fire was transferred, spreading in the territory towards "Mali i Bardhë". Today, 1 fire truck with 11 employees, 5 forest forces and 10 municipal forces are on the ground.

- In the place called "Bjeshkët e Parrusë", Shkrel administrative unit, Malësi e Madhe municipality had a reactivation of the fire. Today, 6 officers from the MZSH, 5 municipal forces, 5 forces from the forest service and 8 volunteer forces are on the ground.

As a result of the fires, which mainly affected areas with trees, bushes and grass, about 65 hectares of vegetation have been burned.

37 firefighting vehicles and 362 operational forces as well as 8 heavy vehicles were deployed in the firefighting operations. The Armed Forces also participated in yesterday's operations with 104 personnel, 6 firefighting vehicles, 1 suction pump and 1 chain tractor.

Based on the forecasts of the Institute of Geosciences, a "HIGH" risk level is expected today in almost all regions.

In the Durrës region, a "MODELAR" risk level is expected and locally a "HIGH" risk only in localized areas, specifically: Durrës region (South).
