Saint Procopius Fair/ His Beatitude, John: We thank God who resurrected the Church

His Beatitude, John

Today, the Divine Liturgy was held for Saint Prokop, the Protector of the city of Tirana.

The service was conducted by His Beatitude Joani in the new church under construction of Saint Prokop, in the hills of Lake Tirana.

It has now become a tradition to celebrate the fair of Saint Prokop, the Protector of Tirana, every year.

For the Orthodox Community of Tirana, this holy place and this temple have great spiritual significance.

His Beatitude, John, during the mass told the story of Saint Procopius.

His Beatitude, John thanked God for restoring the Church and Archbishop Anastasios Yanullatos for his extraordinary contribution to the restoration of the Church.

His Beatitude, John asked the Orthodox believers to pray with a pure heart for the city of Tirana to Saint Prokop, the saint of miracles. / CNA
