Dear sisters and brothers!

Like everything that has a beginning and an end, except God, Who is beginningless and infinite, our spiritual and physical sacrifice of this auspicious month has come to an end.

For a month we fasted with the faith and hope of gaining God's pleasure.

May the Lord of the universe be pleased with us and accept our fasting, prayers and all worship during this blessed month, which we are observing today.

Tomorrow we have a holiday, we have Eid al-Fitr!

Eid al-Fitr is the celebration of the successful completion, with God's permission, of a journey of spiritual perfection.

Eid is the happiness we feel after completing the fasting of Ramadan as well as thanking God for the blessings he has blessed us with.

Prophet Muhammad (as) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan with faith and being convinced of God's reward, all past sins are forgiven."

We ask God to forgive us all our sins, as He has promised us.

We pray to God for the sick, to give them health.

We ask God for our youth to guide them.

We ask God for the parents, the elderly and every person in need, to remove their worries and sufferings.

We pray to God that our country, Albania, becomes a better, more prosperous and hopeful country for Albanians.

We pray to God that the wars that are taking the lives of civilians and children in Gaza, Ukraine and everywhere, end as soon as possible.
