The Mufti of Korça, Ledian Cikalleshi, today offered his congratulations for the Fiteër Bajram holiday.

In his speech, the Mufti said that this is the day of reward, spiritual harmony, solidarity, brotherhood and getting closer to each other.

"Dear Muslim believers of the Korça District, sisters and brothers, on behalf of the Mufti of the Korçë Area and on my own behalf, I greet you with the peace and security that comes from our Merciful and Merciful Creator and I wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr, the day of reward, spiritual harmony, solidarity, brotherhood and getting closer to each other.

We are looking forward to the Blessed Month of Ramadan, with the great hope that God has forgiven our sins and accepted our prayers, worship and sacrifice. Ramadan taught us that the favors and blessings given to us by the almighty only make sense when they are shared with others with the aim of gaining God's pleasure.

This magnificent month taught us that the iftar table is the table of harmony and brotherhood, between believers, between brothers and friends, between the rich and the poor. We are all equal before the Creator, the difference is only in piety, dedication, generosity and sincerity in worship, prayer and good deeds we do.

The prayers, worship, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal that we experienced during the blessed month of Ramadan strengthens and motivates us to see the Eid al-Fitr holiday as a day of new hopes, as a day of remembrance and solidarity with each other, as a day of renewal of brotherhood, friendship and love for man and man.

Eid al-Fitr is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, the prayer ceremony for the two mosques of the city will take place in front of the courtyard of the old "Iljas Bey Mirahori" mosque, while in other areas in the respective mosques.

All believers, men and women, children and the elderly, are welcome to participate in the Eid prayer ceremony, which begins at 06:30 and culminates with the Eid prayer at 07:00.

The ceremony of reception and congratulations will take place in the premises of the Korçë Muftini between 10.00 and 12.00.
