Directors of Veliaj in prison / Alfred Balla: The boss is nowhere to be found

The head of the KLP, Alfred Balla, in a television appearance this morning, spoke about the Justice, the SPAK and the work carried out by the Special Prosecutor's Office, which has sent behind bars the directors and officials of the Municipality of Tirana, who have abused tenders, benefiting millions of euros.

Balla said that cases where people end up behind bars should also serve to prevent others from committing corruption.

Although he did not mention names, the head of the KLP seems to have referred to the case of the directors of Vleiaj who ended up in prison saying that the officials should not agree to carry out illegal orders as they will be the ones who will end up in prison and not their boss.

According to the head of the KLP, the chief cannot find anything in this case.

"Employees should not accept illegal orders. They will go to prison, the boss can't find anything", said Balla./ CNA
