The police of Shkodra have carried out controls in the lake of Shkodra, to crack down on cases of illegal fishing, with prohibited means.
The operatives in Shkodër have prosecuted a 37-year-old man, who was caught red-handed fishing with equipment supplied with electricity.

As a result of checks carried out by the services of the Local Border and Migration Directorate Shkoder, in the lake area, to prevent and attack cases of fishing with prohibited means, near the place called "Syri i Shegani" a citizens fishing with equipment that is powered by electricity.
The Police Services seized as material evidence the equipment used for illegal fishing, a boat and a vehicle.
Following the actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the citizen E. Sh., 37 years old, resident of Malësi i Madhe, for the criminal offense "Forbidden fishing".
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions./ CNA
