The political leader of the PD in Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, made a strong denunciation this evening about the arrested directors of Erion Veliaj, the mayor of Tirana.

Kelliçi said on the Beti Njuma show that the directors of Veliaj are signing documents and contracts from prison.

According to him, these documents are dated several years ago and are being made to interfere with the protocol.

He warned that he will make public the information he has on this matter on Friday.

"I have full information and I will make it public on Friday that the contracts and documents passed on time are being completed by the directors who are in prison and by other employees of the municipality of Tirana.

Practices of several years of interfering with the protocol, taking them to prison to sign, are currently being fulfilled.

Taking it to ex-officials with past dates, tearing out pages in the protocol and inserting other documents into the protocol. We have requested that Erion Veliaj be stopped, that a measure be taken against him.
