The Special Appeal has set the date of November 19 at 10:00 a.m. for the review of the appeal of the President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, on the security measure of detention in prison.

Earlier, the judge Igerta Hysi was appointed through the lottery, who will express her opinion on the request to oppose the measure.

Ilir Meta appealed the decision of the First Instance on November 4 in the Special Appeal.

The request was filed by the defense lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj, who told the media that such a measure does not stand, as he claims that Meta has always been available to justice. Gjokutaj said that the decision is a "rumor".

The security measures against Ilir Meta and Kryemadhi were given on October 23 by GJKKO. Meta was arrested on October 21, near "Khtesa e Kamza", as he was returning from Kosovo. Meta is being investigated for lobbying in the US, spending on health interventions and the CEZ-DIA affair./ CNA
