The month of January is known as the period of increased circulation of flu and viruses.

IHP epidemiologist Artan Simaku emphasizes that the situation remains within the limits of seasonal, normal and expected activity for this period of the year.

Simaku appeals to citizens to get vaccinated against the flu, emphasizing that this is the main method of prevention for the population.

"We are already in January, there is an increase in the circulation of influenza compared to the previous weeks. We continue to remain within the framework of seasonal or seasonal activity, normal, usual and expected for the season. What is important for the population is vaccination. Vaccination is the main means of prevention. It is never too late to get vaccinated.
