The Special Court has postponed today's court session on the "Sterilization" case. It is learned that the reason for the postponement of the session is the absence of former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqja. 

Former Minister Beqja informed the court in a letter that he could not appear at Wednesday's hearing due to health reasons. He requested that the hearing not be held without his presence.

Former minister Ilir Beqja is a defendant in the sterilization concession case, and on March 18, he was also charged with abuse of office committed in collaboration. Beqja faces charges of "abuse of office" committed in collaboration.

The SPAK investigation was conducted for the concession "integrated services for the provision of personalized sets of surgical instruments, the supply of sterile disposable medical material in surgical rooms, as well as the treatment of biological waste and the disinfection of surgical rooms", at the time when Beqaj headed the Ministry of Agriculture. /CNA
