The Director of Risk Management at the National Academy of Agriculture, Martin Jorgaqi, made a scandalous statement in a television appearance regarding meat with salmonella being put on the market.

Jorgaqi stated that no one has been hospitalized and called the distribution of meat contaminated with salmonella simply a media hype.

The director of the AKU contradicts himself, after stating that the salmonella that has infected the meat is one of the two most dangerous types.

" The total quantity was 27 tons with one of the two most dangerous salmonellas known. We managed to return a significant amount of this product. We have returned more than 50% of 7.9 tons of this product. The subject who brought and released this product on the market, rightly or not, I cannot say because the matter is being investigated, but the AKU has made it possible to find out where the product was distributed.
