The Criminal Investigation Department has accepted the complaint filed by Fredi Beleri against former minister Olta Xhaçka and her husband, Artan Gaçi.
In the decision, the GJKKO instructs the Special Prosecution Office to launch investigations against Xhaçka and Gaç.
They are accused of "Forgery of documents", "Laundering of proceeds of crime" committed in collusion and "Abuse of office".
" Citizen Olta Xhaçka, through her inactions, by not declaring the conflict of interest, has benefited through the marital regime, property rights and illegal benefits, which according to the law on strategic investors and the law on conflict of interest, do not belong to her. This citizen, through strategic investment in a falsified property, has benefited from the right to free use of state assets for which ordinary citizens pay tax obligations, etc. ," the decision states./ CNA
