The three Czech tourists who were stranded today on the border between Theth and Valbona while exploring the area have been rescued by an emergency helicopter.

Regarding this event, which is frequent in our country, the head of the National Emergency, Skënder Brataj, also reacted.

As he shared several videos on social networks from today's action, Brataj calls for an end to life-threatening adventures, while thanking the entire rescue team.

"The uncontrolled adventures of mountain tourism continue! Three young people from the Czech Republic end up close to the slope, where they were stuck for two days after losing their way and not knowing where to go! How is it possible that sometimes tourists move without a guide? This is not tourism, this means discussing life! Risk of life for medical personnel, risk of life for police officers, but even more risk of life for pilots! Stop adventures where life is at risk!

A thank you to the pilot staff who have turned the mountains into helicopter runways, thank you to the medical staff of Lekbibaj and the police of the Kukes Directorate for their contribution for several hours in a row, risking their lives.

Fortunately, this time too the mission ended successfully."/ ET-CNA.al
