After 32 years, "Air France" departs from Tirana/ Flights twice a week

The French company resumes flights to Tirana, 32 years after the last flight from Rinas. The largest European company "Air France" has also joined the Albanian flights.

"It is an important step because the Albanian diaspora uses places like Munich, Paris will now be added to it," said the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.

The vice president of "Air France", Oltion Çarkaxhija, announces that at the beginning there will be two flights a week.

"This is because the market is tested on how it works and then the duration and frequency increase. The idea is, if the program goes well, for the winter it should be at least three times a week", said Çarkaxhija.

"Air France" operates flights to over 300 destinations. In order to respond to the demands of European companies, the expansion of the airport terminal has also started.

According to the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, the works are expected to be completed at the end of July. /CNA.al
