The ordination of the Bishop of Amantia, His Grace Ignati, was held at the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Tirana. During his speech, His Grace Ignati said that the work of a Bishop is a privilege, but above all a responsibility.

His Grace Ignati said that the presence of a Bishop will be a support and blessing for every effort and dialogue for the advancement of peace so desired by humanity.

"The whole purpose of human existence is nothing but gratitude for all that God has done, does and will do for man until the end. Standing today, I accept another sacred and difficult task, that of being a Bishop at such a young age. He who surrenders himself to God no longer worries about himself, because God takes care of him better than he takes care of himself. Working in the vineyard of the Lord is a privilege but above all a responsibility. In its daily life, the work of the evangelizer requires sacrifice and love but above all it requires patience at its foundation. The presence of a Bishop will be support and blessing for every effort and dialogue for the progress of peace so desired for humanity," said His Grace Ignatius.

His Beatitude, Archbishop Joan, during his speech, said that the Bishop is a successor of the apostles and a continuation of their line. Archbishop Joan emphasized that the duty of the Bishop is always to serve and not to rule.

When he receives the Holy Spirit, he can spread this to others. Therefore, the responsibility is greater. We must not forget that the Bishop is a descendant of the apostles. Their line is always continuous. If we love God, we will love all people. If a person wants to serve, he can always succeed.
