Prime Minister Edi Rama is on an official visit to Tokyo, which is taking place within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between Albania and Japan, as well as expanding cooperation in the economic, cultural and diplomatic fields.

According to the visit program, the main streets of Tokyo have been decorated with the flags of Albania and Japan, as a sign of state protocol and respect for the relations between the two countries.

During his stay in Japan, Rama is expected to hold high-level meetings with representatives of the Japanese government, including a bilateral meeting with Japanese politician Sanae Takaichi, with a focus on deepening strategic partnership and cooperation.

The visit's agenda also includes an activity at the United Nations University, where Prime Minister Rama is expected to address participants in a panel discussion on the topic "Albania's Path to EU Membership: The Role of Japan".
