Phones hidden in shower rooms/ What was seized in Peqin and Shkodra prisons

Checks for prohibited items were conducted in the Shkodra and Peqin prisons. According to the announcement of the Directorate of Prisons, the checks were carried out in the residential buildings and common areas of the institution.

It is reported that during the search at the Peqin Penitentiary Institution, in the shower rooms, 2 mobile phones were found and seized, specifically: 1 white "Samsung" mobile phone and 1 black "Redmi" mobile phone.

Meanwhile, in Shkodra prison, during the physical search of the detainee GZ, 1 “iPhone” cell phone was found and seized, along with the charger. The person was immediately isolated and an incident report was drawn up for the case. Also, 2 other “iPhone” type cell phones were found in the common areas.

Relevant documentation has been compiled for all cases, including minutes of the seizure and delivery of prohibited items. /CNA
