Elbasan without water/Çopja: The situation affects the citizens, the municipality must react

Elbasan has been facing a lack of drinking water supply for more than two days, creating serious concerns and difficulties for residents and public institutions throughout the city. The situation has affected not only families, but also kindergartens, nurseries, schools and businesses, which are finding it increasingly difficult to continue their daily activities normally.

Residents are outraged by the lack of information and the prolonged nature of the problem. In many neighborhoods, taps have remained dry for more than 48 hours, while families are being forced to obtain water in cans or from alternative sources.

The head of the Democratic Party councilors of the Elbasan Municipal Council, Bjanka Çopja, told CNA that this problem is ongoing and directly affects the lives of residents.

Citizens demand immediate response from responsible institutions and a swift resolution to the situation.
