The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has explained the reason why he addressed a letter to the leader of SPAK, Klodjan Braho.

In an interview with A2CNN, Meta stated that the letter did not contain any accusations against Braho but was addressed only in one aspect as a representative of SPAK in relations with third parties and for international assistance.

Meta said that the letter is related to receiving information from a US court, which provides him with protection in the process.

"My letter is public, very correct. It is addressed to him, not to accuse him of concealing evidence, because he is not the prosecutor of my case, I know very well the responsibility that the head of SPAK has, and I know that the responsibility for any violation and respect for the law lies with the prosecutor of the case. I have addressed Mr. Braho only in one aspect, as a representative of SPAK in relations with third parties and for international assistance. Surprisingly, a request has been made through the Ministry of Justice that an American court not provide any information to the LSI for two years, then how will I defend myself against an accusation. This is completely absurd, which does not have any problem of national security or US security.
