The Mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo, took part in the hearing of the Territorial Reform Commission in Korça, where he emphasized that the 2014 reform was successful.

Filo stated that this reform brought more revenue and investment.

He emphasized that before 2015, the revenues collected were 19.5 million lek, while today they have quadrupled and about 98.3 million lek in revenues are collected.

"Today we are 11 years after the reform and it is enough to give judgments and conclusions. The 2014 reform was successful with all expectations.

As for synergy, the synergy of resources in certain sectors such as tourism, the old municipality had a certain group of attractions combined with territories that were merged such as Dardha, Voskopoja and Vithkuqi, a greater synergy was created and complemented the tourist offer of the large municipality, giving a significant economic impact.

Larger municipalities had the opportunity to make more investments and a more strategic perspective.

I'll give you some figures. In terms of revenue before 2015, 19.5 million lek were collected.
