Illegal constructions allowed/Security measures set for the police chief and

The Saranda Prosecution Office has imposed the security measures of 'prison arrest' and 'house arrest' for 'Abuse of duty' for the police chief and crime specialists at the Saranda Police Station, after they allowed unauthorized construction to take place in this city and in Ksamil.

Consequently, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Saranda, the court decided to impose the following security measures:

Assigning the security measure 'arrest in prison for a period of 30 days' to the GB citizen;

Assigning the security measure 'arrest in prison for a period of 30 days' to citizen R.Ç.;

The assignment of the security measure 'house arrest' for citizen AD; and

The assignment of the security measure 'house arrest' for citizen AI

After administering the reference material, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Saranda conducted investigative actions and submitted a request for the validation of the detention and the imposition of security measures.

From the evidence administered to date, of 2792 sheets, several constructed objects resulted for which the subjects were not provided with a construction permit by the competent authorities, objects which were not recorded by the structures of the Saranda Police Commissariat , allowing the continuation of construction in some cases until their full completion./CNA
