When everything is getting ready to start the festivities, the deputy mayor of Korçë, Benila Themeli, gave some details.

In a statement to the media, Themeli showed that, just like every year, in this 17th edition there is a big boom of tourists, who have reserved all the seats in the hotels.

"We are in the final preparations to open today the lid of the Beer Festival, the 17th edition, the biggest party in Albania. I am very happy to say at the beginning of this communication with the media, just a few hours before the holiday, that there are no more free beds in Korça.

That is, all the hotels of Korça are booked, inside and outside. Of course, I'm sorry for those who couldn't, or for those who left the decision-making for now, but as it happens in other years at the Beer Festival, many people are accommodated in the families of friends and relatives.

Korça is overcrowded and this marks the peak of tourism in Korçë. In fact, the Beer Festival has been an impetus for the development of event tourism, and based on its success, many hotels have grown from year to year ," she said.

The deputy mayor also clarified the issue of table reservations.

"What I want to emphasize is that this year's Beer Festival comes with a very rich musical program, it comes with the formula of reserving a part of the tables. So, part of the party tables will be with reservation and part without reservation. I want to clarify for the public that the payment that will go to the reservation of the tables will be consumed all for drinks and food by them. Practically, it is a mechanism that who will have a place in the central area of ??the party or at a guaranteed table, because he can come a little later, not in the first hours of its beginning, has it reserved and everything for its reservation will go to the consumption of drinks and food" , declared Belina Themeli.

She emphasized that the concerts of the first two days will be free, while the concerts of the other 3 days will be with a payment of 35 thousand old leks in total.

And I also want to emphasize a positive thing for the public, that the ticket is even cheaper than last year. While it used to be 20,000 Lek at Argiro's concert, this year the ticket is 3,500, which means it is about 12,000 Lek daily tickets at most. And from our data, most of the tickets that have been sold are like that, so they are 3-day and it goes to a lower price per concert day than last year.
