The Beleri/Cani issue: I am 100 percent convinced, Greece will not back down!

The journalist, Arian Çani, spoke about Greece's attitude towards the integration of Albania due to the Beleri case.

He said in an interview for Euronews that Greece, even if it is totally wrong in what it is doing, does not back down.

Çani also drew attention to Greece's veto of Macedonia's NATO membership in 2008.

"In 2008 Bush wanted Macedonia to join NATO and at that time Greece vetoed the name and Bush said at that time that Greece will change its mind. Unfortunately, Greece did not change its mind and Macedonia joined NATO 12 years later. We are not joining NATO, this is about the EU, which does not have any obligations. As far as the information I have, even if Greece is totally wrong in what it is doing, I am 100 percent convinced that it will not withdraw", said Çani./ CNA
