The "icon" of Korça football, Veteran Topçiu, has died at the age of 80.

Topçiu participated in a meeting with the mayor of Korça, Sotiraq Filo. But at some point he felt bad and "collapsed" on the ground unconscious.

Despite the fact that he was immediately sent to the hospital in Korça, unfortunately the footballer did not come out.

From preliminary information, it is suspected that he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Mayor Filo accompanied Topçi all the time, who unfortunately could no longer stand up.

The activity he participated in was taking place at the "Thimi Mitko" library.
