File for January 21/ Protest tape sent for expertise to the US

The Special Prosecution Office has decided to send one of the materials related to the file on the January 21, 2011 protest to the United States for expertise.

According to information, this step is being taken as part of the investigation into the file.

This concerns the radio communication material on the Republican Guard channel that was recorded during the protest, where 4 protesters lost their lives.

The audio communications of the Guard's chain of command have been sent for several weeks via a letter of recommendation to a specialized laboratory in the US.

Initially ,  verification of the authenticity of the material will be required and then the voices that are part of the communication recorded on the tape will be compared./CNA
