Debate on Zvërnec/Costa: It is not only a question of the translation of European legislation, but also of its implementation

The President of the Council of Europe, Antonio Costa, in the joint statement with Prime Minister Edi Rama, was also asked about the debate of recent days in Zvërnec.

Costa said that the Council of Europe is conducting hearings with civil society and if there is a need for comment, there will be a comment.

The President of the Council of Europe stated that it is not only a matter of translating European legislation in Albania, but also of implementing it.  

" The Council of Europe is listening to civil society and if there is reason to comment, we will comment. It is not just about translating European legislation into Albanian, it is about implementing European legislation in Albania ," said Costa.
