The Day of the Blessed Water was celebrated this Friday in Pustec.

Darko Stojan is the young man from Pusteci who caught the cross that day in the village of Lajthizë.

The minority area of ??Pustec celebrates the Holy Water Day on January 19.

The young man, together with his peers, have braved the low temperatures to perform this rite. 

According to the Bible, this rite celebrates the baptism of Jesus Christ in the waters of the river.
