After the clashes in the Commission for Electoral Reform, the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, declared to the media that the majority and the opposition mandated deputies wanted to throw ashes in the eyes of the Albanians, as they were pretending to want Electoral Reform.

"Today, as you have been informed, another act was promised between the majority MPs and the opposition mandated MPs who are in the commission with the will of the majority to act as if they intend to carry out the reform. They want to throw ash in the eyes of the Albanians that they want Electoral Reform , if they wanted, it would have been convened for two years. It is the majority that has blocked the participation of the opposition. Edi Rama does not intend to hold free and fair elections, therefore he does not want the representatives of the opposition in the Electoral Reform Commission. The opposition wants to participate in the commission, but it is not allowed.
