EU Ambassador: There is no time to lose! Accelerate the reforms!

The ambassador of the European Union in Albania, Silvio Gonzato, held a meeting yesterday with the Albanian chief negotiator, Majlinda Dhuka.

Through a statement, Gonzato released details of the meeting. He says that there is no time to lose in the European integration process.

The EU ambassador declares that the focus should be on the acceleration of reforms

"There is no time to lose! The acceleration of EU-related reforms from Albania must be our common focus after the successful process of analytical review of the legislation. This was the main message I conveyed to the Minister of State and Chief Negotiator Majlinda Dhuka during yesterday's meeting. For this we need strong political leadership, a solid public administration and a proactive engagement with all actors. #EuropeIsHere to help Albania successfully meet this challenge," emphasizes Silvio Gonzato. / CNA
