The hearing in the Special Court for the former minister Arben Ahmetaj for the trial of the "Buka" factory begins. Accusations have been brought against Ahmetaj for the criminal offense of abuse of office in the amount of damages of around 7 billion ALL.

The Special Prosecutor's Office continues the investigation for 7 other people, representatives of the Ministry of Finance and against businessman Lirim Fezollari, who, according to SPAK, also benefited from privatization when Ahmetaj was Minister of Finance. But only the latter was informed of the accusation through his lawyer.

Arben Ahemtaj's reactions from the escape to these accusations have not been few. 

He has "shot" the incinerator media, as he raises questions about how it is possible that the news about the privatization first came out of them and doubts whether they are trying to pressure him not to speak.

Ahmetaj emphasizes that even if this is the goal, he will not stop speaking, as he published the accounting expert's report and the documents signed by him in 2014, 2015 and 2018.

The former Minister of Finance describes the charges brought against him as a second act of political-justice tragedy-comedy.
