Durrës-Tirana railway/ The government approves over 104 million ALL for

The government approved today the expropriation for public ownership of real estate owners affected by the project "Rehabilitation of the railway line Durrës-Tirana Public Transport Terminal as well as the line with Tirana International Airport (TIA).

In the decision published by the government, the owners of these real estates will be compensated in a total amount of 104,085,941.87 ALL that will be borne by the state budget. The process of expropriation begins immediately after the decision is published in the "Official Gazette" and the deadline is within 3 months from the date of entry into force of the decision.

Owners must submit documentation justifying liquidation to the State Expropriation Agency in order to receive the compensation they are entitled to.

"The State Cadastre Agency suspends all transactions with expropriated assets until the completion of the project tracing process on the cadastral map and registers the act of transfer of ownership for the assets that are expropriated according to this decision in favor of the state in charge of administration of the Ministry of Finance and Economy for the company "Hekurudha Shqiptare", sh.a" - it is stated in the decision of the Council of Ministers.

The State Cadastre Agency suspends all transactions with expropriated assets until the completion of the process of tracing the project on the cadastral map.
